Well, it FINALLY turned cold here in South Alabama. Last weekend fall finally decided to show itself and our team is excited to swap out our Tkees Sandals and sundresses for ankle boots and comfy sweaters. It also makes for a much more pleasant wedding day when we are not drenched from walking around the Grand Hotel or some of our other beautiful outdoor locations. Here’s a glimpse into some of our team’s favorite fall wardrobe pieces.
Jenna Laine Weddings: Mary Michael & Will
We can not even express how much fun we had planning with Mary Michael and her sweet mom! Mary Michael may be our most detail oriented bride thus far and we loved that quality! She wanted to make sure that every moment of her day was personalized, unique to her and Will, yet also very classic and fit for the Grand Ballroom. One of my favorite details from her reception was the pink taper candles provided by Wildflowers Fairhope, and the gorgeous cake table. Mary Michael had so many gorgeous images, we had a hard time narrowing them down, below are a few of our favorites from this special day.

Jenna Laine Weddings Alexandra & Wes
Alexandra & Wes’s wedding was a perfect classic black and white wedding. We loved everything about this brides look from her Jimmy Choo shoes to her bridesmaids stylish black and white gowns. At the reception we incorporated white and black linens, paired with white chiavari chairs, black taper candles and sleek centerpieces consisting of all white orchids, hydrangeas, tulips and roses. It was the perfect combination of modern and classic elegance.

September top Ten
Anyone else curious where September went? How can it be October already? September was great month, but a bit of blur! Here are some things we loved this past month.
1) Football Season- Down South
2) PJ Harlow- These are Jenna’s favorite pajamas. They are available for purchase at Wildflowers Fairhope
3) The Grove Collaborative- Meg loves her subscription to The Grove Collaborative. They provide her with all natural products for home care, health and body.
4) Clear Purses- We all love these clear crossbody bags from Mark and Graham. They are perfect for football season.
5) Red Carpet Season- We love red carpet season, which just began with the Emmy Awards. We love to see the gorgeous gowns and how those trends play into wedding season, such as colored and patterned linens.
6) Essies Fall 2019 Nail Polish - we are all loving the fall color palette around the office
7) Engage 2020- Jenna is so excited about attending this years Engage Summit at Palmetto Bluff. This will be her second time attending and she always comes back inspired and ready to get to work!
8) Windwood Weddings- We have fallen in love with this beautiful venue. We had the pleasure of working with Arden Photography this month to coordinate a beautiful fall inspired photoshoot.
9) Sailcloth Tent- We have to give a shout out to this show stopper tent. We worked with SOHO Events and Rentals on September 21st and their sparkling white sailcloth tent did not disappoint. We can’t wait to share photos!
10) Fall TV- anyone else a big fan of fall tv series? Our DVRS are loaded up with shows like This Is Us, Law and Order, The Walking Dead, A Million Little Things, Greys Anatomy and the list goes on.

We have a lot of practice planning weddings with clients from all over the United States, but working with a bride who lives in Italy was a first. Most of the planning was done via emails, inspiration boards and Skype sessions, but our main goal was to make sure this sweet bride remained stress free throughout the process. We are thankful to work with brides and grooms from all over and so glad they can trust me and my team to ensure all their wedding details and dreams come to life.

Jenna Laine Weddings: Sarah and Paul
Sarah and Paul had one of our favorite at home weddings to date. They were open to letting us and our team of vendors get creative and do what we all do best. The bride had just a few request, one being that her ceremony took place on the bay side of her parents home between two gorgeous oak trees and two that we incorporated lots of pretty colors.
Guests were greeted at the front door with a beautiful boxwood champagne wall, decked out in gorgeous pastel blooms. As they stepped out into the backyard they were met with floating flowers in the pool, gorgeous oak tree trunks decorated from top to bottom in beautiful blooms. A band tent dripping with flowers and a vibrant blue backdrop. Soft blue and white linens and later the most perfect sunset. To finish out the night the bride and groom had Chick-fil-a mini’s and fun flashy blinky hats, headbands and tambourines for all their guest and a perfect sparkler exit.

Jenna Laine Weddings: Catherine and Zac
Catherine and Zac had the perfect winter wedding last December. Even with a little rain, these two had a smile on their face the entire day. They vowed to forever among family and friends at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and then celebrated their marriage at the Eastern Shore Art Center. Catherine looked stunning in her dress from Town & Country and we couldn’t love her bridesmaid dresses any more. It’s hard to go wrong with the classic black and white wedding! We loved working with this sweet couple last year, and we wish them many years of happiness. Cheers to the Turner’s!
